During my recent visit to Le Phenix, I was ensnared by the hotel's captivating blend of history and modernity. The beautiful Art Deco skylight, under which breakfast is served, exudes a timeless elegance. As a connoisseur of culinary delights, breakfast could have displayed more imaginative offerings given the premium price. Despite this, the ambiance was enchanting.Exploring the surrounding gastronomic scene, I stumbled upon Ninkasi Saint Paul, a stone's throw away. Indulging at Les Fines Gueules, a mere 0.23 km away, was a culinary revelation. Every bite felt like a journey through Lyon’s rich culinary heritage.Although the room was impeccable, the highlight for me was the hotel's proximity to Lyon's bustling heart. My strolls to Wallace Bar and Elephant and Castle were filled with tantalizing scents and vibrant sights. Le Phenix is a haven for travelers seeking a tapestry of heritage, leisure, and culinary wonders. Planning my return already.
